This article explains how to download the log files to use for your own investigative purposes, or to send to the Ekran System Support team.
Management Tool Logs & Application Server Logs
To download the Management Tool log and the Application Server log files, open the Health Monitoring page, and on the System State tab menu, select the Download Log Files (Server and MT) option in the drop-down list.
NOTE: Every time the Application Server restarts, a new Application Application Server log file is created. The current Application Server log file can be downloaded by way of the Management Tool, while older log files are also located in: C:\Program Files\Ekran System\Ekran System\ServerLogs
To download the Client Log files, open the Client Management page, and select the checkboxes next to the required Clients, then on the Bulk Action menu, select Download Logs in the drop-down list.
NOTE: Log files can only be downloaded for Clients which are currently online.
NOTE: The Client logs from the Client machines can also be found in the folder: C:\Program Files\Ekran System\Ekran System\ClientLogs
To define the severity level of the log entries to be saved to the Client log file, open the Client Management page, click on the name of the required Client machine, and then on the Editing Client page, select the Properties tab, and scroll down to the Diagnostics section.
