Getting Started (Checklist)


Getting started with Ekran System involves installation, configuration, and setup, and consists of following the steps below, in sequence:

1. Installing the Application Server.

2. Making sure the Management Tool installation prerequisites are met.

3. Installing the Management Tool.

4. Purchasing serial keys and activating them online (or adding them offline).

5. Setting up the network environment on the computers where the Clients will be installed.

6. Installing Windows Clients, macOS Clients, and Linux Clients.

7. Configuring the Client monitoring settings.

8. Configuring the Application Server.

9. Adding users to the system, and defining their permissions.

10. Adding alerts, if required.

11. Viewing the data captured from the computers being investigated.
