Management Tool Error Messages


The following table provides a list of error messages that you may see while using the Management Tool, along with their causes and possible solutions.

Cause/Solution

If you get the following message when trying to connect to the Management Tool: “The Application Server is unavailable. Please contact your system administrator.”

The program encountered an unexpected error while trying to perform an action.

  • Refresh the Management Tool.
  • Make sure that the Application Server is running.
  • Restart the Application Server and try again.

If the issue is still not resolved, please contact our Support team.

If you get the following message when trying to connect to the Management Tool: “Wrong password or user name.”

Make sure that your login and password are correct. If you are logging in as a Windows user, don’t forget to type <domain name>\<login>.
