Unlocking Users

User accounts that are currently locked (due to a user entering incorrect credentials multiple times) are displayed on the User Management page, with a Padlock () icon to the right of their login name (in the Login column).

NOTE: Active Directory domain user accounts belonging to an AD user group cannot be unlocked manually, so the Padlock () icon is not therefore shown next to them.

Any user with the administrative User Management permission can unlock any user account that is locked at any time, by clicking on the Padlock () icon (next to the user name), and then clicking Confirm in the pop-up window that opens.

NOTE: Domain user accounts belonging to an Active Directory user group cannot be unlocked manually (so the Padlock () icon is not therefore shown next to them).
