Changing the Archived Database Being Investigated

To change the archived database, do the following:

1. Log in to the Management Tool as a user with the administrative Viewing Archived Data permission.

2. Click the Monitoring Results navigation link on the left.

3. On the Monitoring Results page, select the Archived Sessions tab.

4. Click the icon next to the Archived Sessions tab on the right, and select Change Investigated Database in the drop-down list.

5. In the Change Investigated Database window that opens, define the following parameters:

• For the MS SQL database, enter the instance of the SQL Server, the name of the archived database, and the user name and password.

• For the PostgreSQL database, enter the instance of the SQL Server, the name of the archived database, and the user name and password.

NOTE: The archived database can only be changed to one of the same type as your current one.

6. If necessary, click the Test Database Connection button at the bottom to check that there is a connection with the archived database.

7. Click the Save button in the bottom right.
