1. Introduction to Syteca Load Balancing
NOT AVAILABLE IN SAAS
Load balancing is used to distribute the load, resulting from the processing (of large numbers of) Syteca Clients simultaneously, in an optimized way over multiple different Syteca Application Servers in a cluster.
Organizations with medium-sized or large deployments of Syteca, which include multiple Applications Servers, and a large overall amount of Client machines, can use load balancing in High Availability mode to continually optimize the performance of their Syteca deployments.
This guide describes how to install multiple instances of Syteca Application Server and the Syteca Management Tool in order to facilitate load balancing in High Availability mode.
NOTE: It is assumed that you already have an existing deployment of Syteca installed; if not, please refer to the Syteca Quick Start Deployment Guide to initially install a first instance of Syteca Application Server and the Syteca Management Tool.
