The Function Call Skipping Parameter

Function call skipping allows the amount of information received from Linux Client computers to be reduced by defining specific function calls to be skipped (i.e. not recorded) during monitoring.

NOTE: This feature is not enabled by default, and is only available after adding the <add key="FunctionCallsToSkipList" value="1" /> key to the EkranServer.Settings.config file. The .config file can be found in the C:\Program Files\Ekran System\Ekran System\Server folder on the computer where the Application Server is installed.

To skip the monitoring of specific functional calls, on the Editing Client / Editing Client Group page, select the Monitoring [Linux] tab, and in the Function Call Skipping section (at the bottom), enter the required system function calls to skip, separating them by semicolons. Optionally, the parameters for each command can also be specified by entering them after the command, separated by spaces (e.g. <function1>;<function2 parameter1>;<function3 parameter1 parameter2>).
