The Update Client Automatically Parameter (for Linux Clients)

NOTE: Similar parameters are also available for Windows Clients and macOS Clients.

If the Update Client automatically checkbox is selected (on the Editing Client / Editing Client Group page, on the Properties tab, scroll down to the Client Mode section) to enable this option, the Client will be updated automatically when it connects to the Application Server after Syteca has been updated to a new version.

If this option is disabled, the Client needs to be updated manually using the Management Tool.

NOTE: Clients that are not up-to-date continue to monitor user activity and send the data to the Application Server as normal.
