The Update & Support Period


The Update & Support period is the period of time during which your copy of Ekran System can be updated to new versions of the product, which are released frequently. During this period, you also have access to the technical Support services provided by the Ekran System Support team.


When your Update & Support period ends, the following will occur, depending on the serial key type:

Permanent (aka Perpetual): Although Ekran System will continue to function as normal, you will no longer be able to update your system to new versions released after the Update & Support period expiration date, or receive priority Support services, unless you prolong the Update & Support period by renewing the serial key.

Subscription: You will be notified 14 days, 5 days, and 1 day before the serial key expires, and if you do not renew it in time, it will no longer be possible to monitor your Clients.

SaaS: Similar to the Subscription serial key type, you will be notified 14 days, 5 days, and 1 day before the serial key expires, and if you do not renew it in time, it will no longer be possible to monitor your Clients 7 days after the expiration date.
