Defining System Settings

The System Settings allow you to define the Ekran System mode and the Player Link settings.

To define the system settings, click the Configuration (

) button (at the top of the Management Tool interface), and on the Configuration page that opens, select the System Settings tab.

The following settings can be defined in the sections below:

1. NOT AVAILABLE IN SAAS Ekran System Mode

This option allows you to enable Multi-Tenant mode for Ekran System. In this mode, all tenant users have access to Clients of their own tenant, but they do not have access to the Clients, configurations, alerts, reports, etc, of other tenants.

2. NOT AVAILABLE IN SAAS Player Link Settings

This option allows you to define the Management Tool domain name that will be used in the link to the Session Viewer in alert notifications, in the Tray Notifications application log, and in emails.

The domain name must be entered in the following format:

https://<Management Tool computer name or IP>/EkranSystem.

3. Concurrent Sessions

This option allows you to control concurrent user logins to the Management Tool. If the Allow concurrent sessions for Management Tool users checkbox is enabled, two or more Management Tool users can log in simultaneously using the same credentials from different IP addresses. If this checkbox is deselected, only one user can log in to the Management Tool at a time, so if another user logs in using the same credentials from a different IP address, the first user will be forcibly logged out.

4. Timeout

This option allows you to define the time period after which a user will be automatically logged out of the Management Tool. The default value is 20 minutes.

5. Expiration Time of Access Requests

This option allows you to define the time period, after which pending access requests will expire. The default value is 30 minutes.

6. Expiration Time of Access Requests for Usage of Secrets

This option allows you to define the time period, after which both pending access requests and approved access requests for usage with secrets will expire. The default value is 30 minutes.

7. NOT AVAILABLE IN SAAS Windows Event Log Integration

You can select the Send log message to Windows Event log checkbox to enable the sending the Ekran System log messages to the Windows Event log on the Application Server computer, and define the severity level for the log entries.

8. NOT AVAILABLE IN SAAS Server Log Settings

This option allows you to define the severity level of the log entries to be written to the Application Server log files (on the computer where the Application Server is installed).
