Disabling the Sharing Wizard on Windows 8.1/8/7

To disable the Sharing Wizard on Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7, do the following:

1. Open the Folder Options window:

• For Windows 8.1/8: Open Control Panel and then select Appearance and Personalization.

• For Windows 7: Open Computer and then select Organize > Folder and search options.

2. In the Folder Options window, select the View tab.

3. Clear the Use Sharing Wizard checkbox.

4. Click Apply, and OK to close the window.
