The Additional Message on Login Parameter (for Linux Clients)
NOTE: A similar parameter is also available for Windows Clients.
The option to display an additional message on login to a Linux Client computer allows you to inform the user that their actions are being monitored, and to notify them of e.g. corporate policies or the laws of the country, as well as obtain their consent to be monitored.
NOTE: This option is only currently available for logging in to a Linux Client computer via either a remote SSH or local terminal session.
If the Enable displaying of additional message checkbox is selected (on the Editing Client / Editing Client Group page, on the Authentication Options tab, in the Authentication Options section at the top) to enable this option, the Linux Client will display an additional message to the user on login to the Client computer, and after (reading the message displayed, and providing their consent if also required, and) clicking the Continue button, will the user be allowed to access the Client computer.
For more information, please refer to Enabling the Displaying of an Additional Message on Login to Linux Clients.
